Helmed by Geffen Playhouse Artistic Director Randall Arney, Reasons to Be Pretty will be performed in the Gil Cates Theater through August 31 with an opening night of tonight, August 6.

The theatre, which opened on December 20, 1912 with a Peg O'My Heart starring Laurette Taylor, is currently home to the Broadway Premiere of Grace, which will end its limited engagement on January 6, 2013. It will next be home to the World Premiere production of Truman Capote's Breakfast at Tiffany's, a new play written by Richard Greenberg, which starts performances on Monday, March 4 and opens on Wednesday, March 20. The newest edition of the American Theatre Wing's 'Working in the Theatre' will feature 'Steppenwolf: From Chicago to Osage County' on CUNY TV on Sunday, March 23 at 5 p.m. The segment will repeat on Friday, March 28 at 9 a.m., 2 and 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, March 29 at 11 a.m. The program becomes available as streaming audio and podcast from www.americantheatrewing.org, as well as iTunes, beginning Wednesday afternoon, March 26.
