PASSION opened on Broadway in May of 1994 and received the Tony Award that year for Best Musical. It has been performed throughout the world since then, but this will be the first full New York revival. (A three performance only semi-staged production was mounted at Lincoln Center in the spring of 2005 for the PBS broadcast Live From Lincoln Center)

Classic Stage Company's production of PASSION is slated to begin performances in February 2013 under the direction of John Doyle.
