King Henry IV is having problems with his son, the heir to the throne, Prince Hal. The prince just wants to hang out and get drunk with the criminals in the forest, while his father is in the midst of a war with another family trying to capture the throne. The son of the family he is against, Hotspur, is a model warrior and Henry IV wishes his own son would be more like him.
