New York Theatre Ballet to Present Chase Brock's BARK! IN THE PARK and THE FIREBIRD, 2/23-24

New York Theatre Ballet's (NYTB) 2012-2013 season will debut an all-new ballet, Bark! In The Park with choreography by Chase Brock of Broadway's hit Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, and story and music by Karen LeFrak paired with the perennial favorite Russian folk tale, The Firebird on February 23 & 24. Both productions will join Sleeping Beauty, Goose! and Peter & the Wolf in its series of perfect 1-hour ballets for kids and families.

SPIDER-MAN Producers Expected to Reach Settlement With Julie Taymor This Week

The New York Post reports today that director Julie Taymor's lawsuit against SPIDER-MAN producers is close to a settlement. 'We anticipate notifying the Court within the next week that a final settlement agreement has been executed,' Taymor's attorney, Charles T. Spada, wrote yesterday.

Peter Parker died in the 700th and final issue of 'The Amazing Spider-Man,' and in the video below, the cast tributes the character along with a slew of other stars. Check it out below!

This morning, December 15tg, the Police Athletic League (PAL), the city's largest, independent, nonprofit youth organization, and CitySights NY, the leader in New York City tours, sightseeing, and attractions, hosted hundreds of boys and girls from all five boroughs of New York at their annual Holiday Party and Toy Drive. The Broadway community was represented by Broadway and television Star Jesse L. Martin and Spider-Man:Turn of the Dark's Robert Cuccioli.

Jake Epstein, best known as the star of the hugely popular teen series "Degrassi: The Next Generation," will make his Broadway debut as the Peter Parker / Spider-Man Alternate in Broadway's SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark. Epstein will play Saturday and Sunday matinee performances beginning on December 8, 2012 at the Foxwoods Theatre (213 West 42nd Street).
