Marti first played the role to great acclaim in the West End, subsequently repeating his performance in New York and on the UK national tour, playing to sell-out houses. Emma Barton, currently starring in the show on tour as ‘Roxie Hart', will continue to play the role opposite Marti Pellow.

Ruthie Henshall originated the role of ‘Roxie Hart' in 1997 - for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award - when 'CHICAGO' first conquered the West End. As Ruthie Henshall is contracted to other commitments for selected performances between 28 December - 2 January, Bonnie Langford will play the role of ‘Roxie' for these performances. Bonnie comes to London direct from playing the role of ‘Roxie' on Broadway.

On Monday, October 5, Broadway's Tony Award-winning hit musical CHICAGO welcomed back Broadway favorite Brent Barrett as Billy Flynn. Barrett had been scheduled to resurrect his performance for an eight-week return engagement through Sunday, November 29. Barrett's participation will now be extended through March 27, 2010.
