BWW Review: SLAVA'S SNOWSHOW Is a Mess; on Stage and Off at the Dr. Phillips Center
by Matt Tamanini - Feb 21, 2015
Let me start this review by saying that I generally like everything that I see; at least to a certain degree. I can usually find some redeeming artistic moment of any production to tide me over when the work as a whole isn't up to par. However in SLAVA'S SNOWSHOW, running through March 1st at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, I found almost no redeeming moments; nearly nothing on which to hang even the slightest artistic appreciation. This 'show' involves a collection of eight clownish-type individuals who walk around the stage for an hour and 45 minutes (including a 15 minute intermission) and do little more than make a mess. In a word, this show is nonsense; and not fun, clownish nonsense, just plan 'this makes no sense' nonsense.

BWW Previews: The UK Stage, November 2014
by Carrie Dunn - Nov 3, 2014
Hallowe'en is out of the way now, so it's time to get a bit festive. What better way than crooning along to White Christmas, ready to settle in at the Dominion, starring Aled Jones (a voice inextricably linked with this season here in Britain) and Tom Chambers? It toured the UK last year to a mighty set of impressive reviews, and now it takes the place of Evita - now finishing its limited engagement - at the Tottenham Court Road venue.

BWW Reviews: SLAVA'S SNOWSHOW, Royal Festival Hall, December 18 2013
by Gary Naylor - Dec 19, 2013
Like a giant teddy bear in a red nose, the Yellow Clown chases a balloon one minute, kicks through snow the next and, occasionally, clambers into the audience. He's a clown, but often a sad one, alone at first, until... Mayhem!
