Juilliard Dance, under the direction of Alicia Graf Mack, announces New Dances: Edition 2019 taking place December 11-15, 2019, in Juilliard's Peter Jay Sharp Theater. The first-year dancers are working with alumna and acclaimed choreographer Amy Hall Garner. The second-year class is working with Jamar Roberts, a dancer and resident choreographer at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.

Lynn University's College of Arts and Sciences invites guests to weather the storm as the Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in drama program presents Anatomy of Gray Nov. 20-22. When June's father dies in the late 1800s, she prays for a healer to come to the small town of Gray, Indiana. After a tornado passes, a man in a balloon blows into town claiming to be a doctor. At first, the doctor cures anything and everything, but soon the town's preacher becomes ill with a mysterious plague.

Apple Music today announced Toronto based singer-songwriter and emerging global superstar Jessie Reyez as the latest addition to its Up Next program, Apple Music's monthly artist initiative geared towards identifying, showcasing and elevating rising talent. 

The Kitchen presents the U.S. premiere of Queens Row, a New York City Players production written and directed by Richard Maxwell (January 8-25).

Amazon Music today announces the latest installment of its 'Produced By' series, featuring the 13-time Grammy-winning producer T Bone Burnett. Due to overwhelming demand, the Madison Square Garden Company (MSG) has announced an additional show for Josh Groban's forthcoming residency at New York's iconic Radio City Music Hall. The residency was announced on Good Morning America and tickets went on sale today.  Performances will kick off on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2020, April 18, 2020 with an additional date on June 20th, 2020. Ucross, a prestigious artist residency program and creative laboratory for the arts, and the Alley Theatre, one of America's leading regional theatres, today announced an innovative new collaboration in support of theatre artists. Five playwrights annually will receive two-week residencies at Ucross.

San Francisco Opera announces Canadian soprano Andriana Chuchman as the winner of the 2019 Jan Shrem and Maria Manetti Shrem Emerging Stars Competition. Austin, TX's Hovvdy have announced their new album, Heavy Lifter, with a lyric video for its lead single 'Cathedral.' The FADER, who premiered the song and profiled the band today, is calling 'Cathedral' a 'a sleepy anthem for late-summer nostalgia' that 'perfectly demonstrates that shift in the way they play and sound on Heavy Lifter.' Heavy Lifter is available for pre-order now and out 10/18 via Double Double Whammy.

MOVEIUS Contemporary Ballet (MOVEIUS), creating a path for ballet to speak to political and societal issues, will perform a trio of climate-inspired works to The Ailey Citigroup Theater, September 23-25, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. Climate: Movement for Change is part of the high-profile New York Climate Week which starts with the United Nations Secretary-General's Climate Change Summit 2019. The evening features a trio of pieces that unite art and activism. GLACIER: A Climate Change Ballet, which imagines dancers as melting polar ice caps, Rite of Spring, Crash of Fall, plays off Stravinsky's score to explore the 2008 financial collapse, and a new piece, tentatively titled Ground Control, is inspired by the first pictures taken of Earth from space.
