Hello! You simply won't believe how much this musical will change your life. From the creators of South Park and Avenue Q comes the musical comedy that has had audiences laughing non-stop for over a decade. Now in its 12th year on Broadway, The Book of Mormon is a hilariously irreverent take on faith, friendship, and finding purpose in the most unexpected places.

What’s the story? Two eager young missionaries, Elder Price and Elder Cunningham, are sent far from home to spread their message in a small village in Uganda. But things aren’t as easy as they’d hoped. While Elder Price dreams of grandeur, Elder Cunningham is more likely to invent his own gospel, leading to an adventure that puts their faith and friendship to the test.

When it opened on Broadway on March 24, 2011, The Book of Mormon was showered with critical acclaim, winning nine Tony Awards, including ‘Best Musical,’ ‘Best Book of a Musical,’ and ‘Best Original Score.’ The show also took home a Grammy Award for ‘Best Musical Theater Album’ and continues to captivate audiences worldwide with its unique brand of humor and heart.

Brought to life with a catchy score and high-energy choreography, The Book of Mormon is filled with memorable tunes like “Hello!,” “You and Me (But Mostly Me),” and “I Believe.” It’s a satirical look at organized religion, yet its warmth and heart have drawn fans from all walks of life.

Directed by Casey Nicholaw and Trey Parker, this musical comedy has gone on to play all over the world, including in London’s West End, Australia, and a North American tour.

Who will love it? Whether you’re a fan of biting humor or simply enjoy a good laugh, The Book of Mormon's irreverent charm is perfect for anyone who appreciates edgy comedy with a deeper message. By the end, you might just be singing along and questioning everything—and laughing the whole way home.

BWW Reviews: Ma Ha Nei Bu Eebowai for THE BOOK OF MORMON
by Amanda Finn - May 22, 2015

It's quickly becoming a household name. Although it's nothing like some of the shows considered 'classic Broadway', it has erupted into an existence far from anything of its kind on stage. Book of Mormon could be considered a somewhat mythical creature in the realm of theatre. The ultimate amalgamation of all things Broadway and South Park - this show is a masterpiece.

BWW Reviews: Worth Its Weight in Golden Plates - THE BOOK OF MORMON
by Amanda Finn - March 12, 2015

The musical that has had theatregoers buzzing since its premiere, The Book of Mormon, has finally made its way to Madison. It's a show so full of lewd behavior that one would almost have to assume it was written by the men behind the series South Park. That shock value - however - is what makes this show so unbelievably fun.
