The eagerly anticipated reimagining for the stage will begin performances at London’s Trafalgar Theatre on 15 February 2025.

The highly-anticipated sequel Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Live in Concert will land in Jacksonville at the Performing Arts Center on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at 6:00 P.M.

It has a lot going for it, but it's a hit and miss affair, with moments that make us soar and moments that make us cringe.

There were no phone screens, no sotto voce conversations, no fidgeting, as a packed Hall watched the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra in rapt appreciation. Each instrument had its moment. The dual harps added a cool clarity, the double basses a morose touch, the trombones a sweet elegance. This was a vibrant reading of a modern classic in expert hands.

THE APPLE BOYS, a new fast-paced musical comedy set in Gilded Age Coney Island, with book by Jono Lyons and music and lyrics by 2017 Jonathan Larson Grant recipient Ben Bonnema, will have industry presentations on Monday, September 23 and Tuesday, September 24 in Manhattan at Ripley Grier 38th St. Studios.

New York City Ballet’s 2024-25 Season will begin with a four-week Fall Season that will open on Tuesday, September 17 with a program consisting of works by NYCB’s Co-Founding Choreographers George Balanchine and Jerome Robbins, including Balanchine’s Tschaikovsky Piano Concerto No. 2 and Duo Concertant, and Robbins’ Glass Pieces.  

The agency has launched representing a handful of playwrights each with numerous works performed, often in New York City, as well as composers, directors and others. The idea, according to the Peacock Agency, is to create a small agency that will take people worthy of representation in a sector where that often has been woefully absent.

Folketeateret’s new production of Jesus Christ Superstar set out to offer a fresh take on Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s beloved rock opera, but it felt more like a retread of concepts that had become borderline clichés. Most of the lead actors cannot handle Llloyd Webber's score amd the use of live autotune cheapens the experience. The ensemble (and the orhestra) are the only saving grace in this struggling reimagining.
