Performances began on 5 December 2020 for Les Misérables -The Staged Concert at the Sondheim Theatre with the run - which has been extended twice - now concluding on 28 February 2021. 

Audiences can safely enjoy live music at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall in 2021 with 40 new concerts announced today. Five of these will be available for audiences to enjoy in the comfort of their own home through Royal Liverpool Philharmonic's On Demand offering.

Performances will begin on 5 December 2020 for Les Misérables -The Staged Concert at the Sondheim Theatre.  Today it is officially announced that the run will extend to 28 February 2021. 

More than 40 people and puppets from the Tony Award-winning musical Avenue Q have reunited in a special music video of the hit finale, “Only For Now.”

Much of the conversation around the incoming of the revamped Les Misérables production to the West End has revolved around the revolve a?' or lack thereof. But this slicker touring version (first seen in 2009, for the 25th anniversary) is a beautiful fit for Cameron Mackintosh's marvellously refurbished Sondheim Theatre, and the show's indelible score and stirring human drama are, if anything, showcased more strongly than ever.

Jon Robyns most recently had Hamilton audiences in stitches as King George III. Matt Lucas stepped in to play the role of Thénardier for a few weeks when Gerard Carey was unable to perform before the first preview of the new production of Les Misérables at the Sondheim Theatre last month due to vocal injury caused by contracting pneumonia. Last week Lucas regrettably sustained a back injury which has meant he is unable to continue in the role.
