As BroadwayWorld reported earlier today, GRAMMY and Tony Award-winning musician Duncan Sheik's American Psycho: Original London Cast Recording will be available on March 25, 2016 via Concord Records. The album's release will coincide with the show's U.S. premiere on Broadway, with previews beginning March 24 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theater at 236 West 45th Street in New York City.

With just over a month until AMERICAN PSYCHO's first performance on Broadway, it now appears the Duncan Sheik musical will receive not one, but two, cast recordings.

AMERICAN PSYCHO, the American premiere of a new musical based on the novel by Bret Easton Ellis -- which celebrates the 25th anniversary of its publication this March -- will begin performances on Broadway at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street) on Thursday, March 24, 2016. As BroadwayWorld reported yesterday, AMERICAN PSYCHO just announced that Tony Award-winner Alice Ripley and Tony Award nominee Jennifer Damiano will reunite onstage in the highly-anticipated musical. Both received Tony nominations (and a win for Ripley) for their performances as mother and daughter in NEXT TO NORMAL in 2009. AMERICAN PSYCHO just announced that Tony Award-winner Alice Ripley(Next to Normal), Tony Award nominee Jennifer Damiano (Next to Normal) and Helene Yorke (Bullets over Broadway, 'Masters of Sex') will join previously announced Benjamin Walker (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson) in the cast of the highly-anticipated musical. The producers of the American premiere of AMERICAN PSYCHO announce that tickets will go on sale exclusively to Audience Rewards members this coming Monday, October 19th. The pre-sale allows members of the rewards program an opportunity to purchase full price tickets to AMERICAN PSYCHO from Monday, October 19th - Thursday, October 22nd, before tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 23rd.

The producers of the new musical AMERICAN PSYCHO just announced the show will make its Broadway premiere this season with previews set to start Friday, February 19th, 2016and an official opening night on Monday, March 21st, 2016 at a Shubert Theatre to be announced. Rehearsals will begin on Monday, January 11th, 2016. American Psycho is heading to Broadway! According to an Equity casting notice, producers David Johnson, Jesse Singer, Jeffrey Richards, and Jerry Frankel plan to begin Broadway previews in mid-February 2016, with a mid-March 2016 opening. Rehearsals will begin in January. Casting has not yet been announced.

'Girls' star Zosia Mamet will take part in an upcoming workshop for a musical version of AMERICAN PSYCHO.

American Psycho, following its cancelled U.S. premiere at Second Stage Theatre, will receive a developmental lab reading in January 2015 in New York City, according to a new Equity casting notice.
