Flint Rep Presents A New Holiday Favorite THE LITTLE PRINCE

Flint Repertory Theatre presents "THE LITTLE PRINCE," Adapted by Rick Cummins and John Scoullar, Based on the book by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. Performances begin Friday December 14 and run through Sunday December 23. Tickets are now on sale. In the middle of the Sahara Desert, a stranded aviator meets the Little Prince, who hails from a small, faraway asteroid. Their dreamlike journey unfolds across a universe sparking our imaginations along the way. The Little Prince teaches the aviator how to laugh, cry, and love again. This holiday classic for all ages, reminds us "It is only with the heart that one can see rightly."

O'Brien Entertainment has announced the new cast for its remounted production of The Snowy Day and Other Stories by Ezra Jack Keats at St. Luke's Theatre. Adapted for the stage by Jerome Hairston with music by Victor Zupanc, the show is inspired by four of Keats' most beloved stories, including the 1963 Caldecott Award-winning picture book, The Snowy Day.

Lewis will be brought to life in "The Chronicles of Narnia," from December 6-9, 2018, in Howard Community College's Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center. This production by Howard Community College's (HCC) Arts Collective and the Howard County Poetry and Literature Society (HoCoPoLitSo) is based on the first two books in the Narnia series, "The Magician's Nephew" and "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe."

Ben Lockwood, Rupert Henderson and Oliver Kaderbhai today announce the full cast for the hit Off-Broadway musical Striking 12 from Tony Award-winning Rachel Sheinkin and musical duo Brendan Milburn and Valerie Vigoda. Oliver Kaderbhai directs Declan Bennett (Brendan), Bronte Barbe (The Match Girl), Danielle Kassarate (Narrator), with Kate Robson-Stuart and Leon Scott completing the cast. Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Match Girl, Striking 12 will open at the Union Theatre on 3 December, with previews from 28 November and runs until 23 December.

Luke Shepard directs Alex "Teddy" Clements (MD / Ensemble), Ryan Heenan (Joe Spud), Avita Jay (Sapphire / Raj), Eleanor Kane (Lauren), Lem Knights (Bob), Jared Leathwood (Dave Grubb), Natalie Morgan (Sue Grubb), Daisy Noir (Drummer / Ensemble), Dean Nolan (Len Spud) and Sophia Nomvete (Bobs Mum (Gwen). The production, which marks Miranda Cooper and Nick Coler's first musical opens on 28 November, with previews from 19 November, and runs until 6 January in Southampton. Billionaire Boy The Musical then tours to Manchester, Coventry and Cardiff.

Director of Learning and Participation, Ciaran McConville, returns with a new version of the Brothers' Grimm classic following last year's successful adaptation of Alice in Winterland. Rosie Jones directs a cast of local young actors from the Rose Youth Theatre led by a team of professional actors including Devon Black (Mother/Bear/Townsperson), Vanessa Fisher (Red/Townsperson), Elliot Fitzpatrick (Otto/Kabeljau), J.J. On Saturday, October 20th, RLT will host a post-show discussion after the 1:00P performance with Rev. Sharon Taylor about the impact of C.S. Lewis to people of faith. Rev. Sharon Taylor serves as senior pastor at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church at the corner of Brooks and Clark. Sharon came to Raleigh in 2014 from Yardley, PA. She has been ordained for twenty years and attended Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia.
