PostClassical Ensemble has announced its 20th anniversary season. This landmark year's lineup will be one that takes audiences on a journey through science, genius and paradise, in another daring yet uniquely accessible season for PCE. This announcement comes on the heels of Music Director and Conductor Ángel Gil-Ordóñez's immensely successful 22/23 season, which saw sold out crowds, A-list actors, and rapturous critical acclaim.

Berkshire audiences fortunate, and wise enough to wind their way over the river and through the woods to the Daniel Arts Center McConnel Theater (on the campus of Bard College in Great Barrington) to experience Great Barrington Public Theater’s production of OFF PEAK before it closes July 23 are sure to be glad, they did. Do not miss it!

Due to an actor's non-show related injury, Guild Festival Theatre (GFT) has had to recast Three Men in a Boat. Guildwood local, Azeem Nathoo will now be taking on the role of Jay and joining the cast is Jack Copland (Dora nominee for Three Ordinary Men) in the role of Harris. Suchiththa Wickremesooriya continues in the role of George.

What did our critic think of THE MUSIC MAN at Broadway At Music Circus?

 Boston’s Independent Radio, WXRV/92.5 the River announced that popular dance funk band Ripe will headline the station’s 21st Annual Riverfest Music Festival on Saturday, August 26, 2023, from 12 Noon – 6:00 PM. Ryan Montbleau Band, Air Traffic Controller, and Steve Rondo join the lineup on the Broadway Boardwalk at Salisbury Beach.

Thames Festival Trust will present London's annual river festival, Totally Thames 2023. The festival will feature art installations and exhibitions, performances including a climate cabaret, foreshore walks, talks, boat trips, river races and more this September, particularly focusing on sustainability and protecting the environment and ecosystem of the river. 

Cortland Repertory Theatre will present as the fourth mainstage show in their 51st annual summer season the regional premiere of the dramatic comedy “The Cake”, running from July 19 - 28. This timely play, written by Bekah Brunstetter, will have evening shows at 7:30 PM, with matinees on July 21, 22, 23 and 26 at 2:00 PM. 

The long-awaited album meets the band where they are now. The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) has announced the full cast for Wils Wilson’s upcoming production of Shakespeare’s gripping and brutal tragedy, Macbeth, which opens in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre from Saturday 19 August – Saturday 14 October 2023.

Theatre Under The Stars will return to the Miller Outdoor Theatre stage for the first time since 2019 with a concert in July. The show, dubbed TUTS: A Celebration of Houston Stories and Songs is directed by Mitchell Greco, and will run July 11 – 15 features a cast of beloved Houston actors singing many songs from the shows TUTS has performed over the last 55 years.
