Jeff and Hunter, two struggling writers, hear about a new musical theatre festival. However, the deadline for submissions is a mere three weeks away. With nothing to lose, the pair decides to try to create something new with the help of their friends Susan, Heidi and Larry on the eighty-eight. With the cast in place, Jeff and Hunter begin a conversation about what to write about. Eventually, Jeff suggests they write about what to write about. They make a pact to write up until the festival’s deadline and dream about the show changing their lives.



[title of show] – taken from the space on the festival’s application form which asks for the “[title of show]” – follows Hunter and Jeff and their friends on their journey through the gauntlet of creative self-expression. In the span of 90 minutes they write and perform their show at the festival and learn lessons about themselves as people, friends and artists.

Revel in the madness of this hilariously funny musical comedy, featuring a troupe of dancing, singing nuns. NUNSENSE follows the crazy antics of five nuns from the Little Sisters of Hoboken convent. When their cook, Sister Julia, Child of God, accidentally serves some tainted soup, poisoning 52 of the sisters, the five surviving nuns must band together to raise funds for their burials. The score pulses with merriment and an unabashed desire to make you laugh, with songs and spontaneous comic interludes paced at breakneck speed.

TATTERED CAPES Extends Run Following Fringe Win

After a successful, sold out run at the biggest Hollywood Fringe Festival yet, the Theatre Unleashed premiere of Tattered Capes by acclaimed playwright Gregory Crafts took home the Fringe Award for "Dance and Physical Theatre" Sunday night against a tough field that also included hit shows like Cirque du Giselle, Shakedown at the Dusty Spur, Mil Grus and Scarlett Fever. The win is TU's second in a row, after taking home the award for Best Comedy last year with A Very DIE HARD Christmas.
