Presented as part of a two-year collaboration between the Guthrie and The Playwrights? Center, the evening will feature local actors John Middleton, Annelise Christ Gould, Casey Greig, Amy McDonald, Bill McCallum, Ryan Parker Knox and Mo Perry. Variety is reporting that HBO has signed on as a producer of Will Ferrell's upcoming Broadway show, 'You're Welcome America. A Final Night with George W. Bush'. The cable network is also set to air a live telecast of the show from Broadway, at a date to be named later. (It's assumed that it'll be from towards the end of the show's run).

The New York Times is reporting that comedian Will Ferrell will be making his Broadway debut next year. Ferrell will get his own one man show 'You're Welcome America. A Final Night with George W. Bush.' The show will be directed by Adam McKay. It is scheduled to begin previews on January 20th at the Cort Theater, currently home to The 39 Steps. It will open on February 1st and run through March 15th.
