Dancers Over 40 members have worked with many choreographers, but almost none as often as the award-winning Director/Choreographer Gower Champion. On Monday, March 31st at 7:30 pm, some of the dancers and the creative talents associated with Mr. Champion, from 1951's 'Make a Wish' to his last Broadway show the smash hit musical '42nd Street' in 1980, will be represented on the stage of the St. Luke's Theater at 308 West 46th Street.

Multi-award-winning composer Marvin Hamlisch will make his New York Philharmonic debut as conductor and host of Broadway's Greatest Showstoppers, featuring songs from Les Misérables, Carousel, My Fair Lady, and his own Pulitzer Prize-winning score for A Chorus Line, among others, Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at 7:30 p.m. Joining Mr. Hamlisch will be two of Broadway's brightest stars, Kristin Chenoweth and Raúl Esparza, in his Philharmonic debut.

Kathleen Turner, director of Roundabout Theatre Company's Crimes of the Heart, will be featured in a two-part interview on NY1's 'On Stage' this weekend, beginning Saturday, March 22nd and continuing next weekend, beginning Saturday, March 29th on channel 1. Both segments will be repeated six times throughout the weekend. Beginning Tuesday evening, March 25, Kim Stengel, the actress who has played the role of the outrageous opera diva 'Carlotta' in The Phantom of the Opera more than any other actress worldwide, will join the Broadway production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, directed by Harold Prince, at The Majestic Theatre (247 West 44th Street). New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Acting Managing Director Fred Walker have announced that The Sound and The Fury (April Seventh, 1928), based on part one of the novel by William Faulkner, created by Elevator Repair Service (ERS), and directed by John Collins, will begin performances Tuesday, April 15, at NYTW, 79 East 4th Street, between Second Avenue and Bowery. Opening night is scheduled for Tuesday, April 29 at 7:00pm. The production will run through May 18.

Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) has announced additional casting for the sixth and final production of its 2007/2008 Season, the World Premiere of the new musical SAVED.

Tony Award-winner Victoria Clark will be joined by Conrad John Schuck, Dermot Crowley, Celia Keenan-Bolger and Michael Arden in Marc Blitzstein and Joseph Stein's Juno, the second Encores! production of New York City Center's 2008 season. Directed by Tony Award- winner Garry Hynes with guest music direction by Eric Stern and choreography by Warren Carlyle, Juno will play for five performances, from March 27 - 30, at New York City Center, West 55th Street (between 6th and 7th Avenues). This will be the first production since the original Broadway staging in 1959 to use the original orchestration by Blitzstein, Hershey Kay and Robert Russell Bennett.

Shrek The Musical will open December 14 at the Broadway Theatre, after beginning previews on November 8, to star Sutton Foster, Christopher Sieber and Kecia Lewis-Evans.
