Full Cast Announced For THE GLEE CLUB on Tour

Out of Joint, Cast, Doncaster and Kiln Theatre, London today announced the full cast for their national tour and London run of The Glee Club. Joining Bill Ward who plays Bant, will be Joshua Hayes (Breakneck Bronco a?" The Watermill Theatre) as Scobie, Linford Johnson (The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe a?" Bridge Theatre, Much Ado About Nothing a?" Northern Broadsides) as Colin Shuttleworth, Kai Owen (Torchwood a?" BBC TV, The Full Monty a?" UK tour) as Jack Horsfall and Eamonn Riley (Martha, Josie and The Chinese Elvis a?" Stephen Joseph Theatre, Our Town a?" The Royal Exchange) as Phil Newsome. This new production of Richard Cameron's play is directed by Out Of Joint's artistic director Kate Wasserberg.

The classic tale of a magical visit to a land frozen in eternal winter under a powerful witch's spell takes a new twist as Bay Area Children's Theatre presents 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' Saturday, February 1 - Sunday, March 15, at the BACT Berkeley Center, 2055 Center Street, Berkeley, CA 94704, with performances weekends at 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 4 p.m.

Ian Hughes Will Replace Matt Lucas as Thénardier in LES MISERABLES Beginning Tomorrow

Matt Lucas stepped in to play the role of Thénardier for a few weeks when Gerard Carey was unable to perform before the first preview of the new production of Les Misérables at the Sondheim Theatre last month due to vocal injury caused by contracting pneumonia. Last week Lucas regrettably sustained a back injury which has meant he is unable to continue in the role.

Hero Theatre Announces Immersive Project Addressing School Shootings

Hero Theatre announced a special collaboration with immersive theatre artist Jack McCarthy as part of their 2020/2021 season. McCarthy has been commissioned to create two world-premiere immersive plays. The productions are part of Hero Ignite, a new division of the company that serves as an incubator for new works created and inspired by the experiences of youth in America today.

Sally Cookson's highly acclaimed stage production of C.S. Lewis' The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe, which is currently playing to packed houses at the Bridge Theatre in London, and broke box office records when it premiered at Leeds Playhouse in 2017, will begin a major tour of the UK and Ireland at the Waterside Theatre in Aylesbury on 20 November 2020. It then travels to Cardiff, Salford, Dublin, Edinburgh, Canterbury, Glasgow and finally Nottingham in March 2021.

Today, The Watermill Theatre announces the appointment of four new Associate Directors as part of its Associate Artist Programme. The four emerging directors have been selected to work with the producing theatre to develop their skills and build experience as they embark on the next phase of their careers. Under the guidance of Artistic Director Paul Hart, each will take on roles ranging from Assistant Directorships to fully directing productions, all with the aim of nurturing their talents and extending their knowledge. These new appointments are a part of The Watermill's continued commitment to supporting emerging theatre-makers and nurturing the talent of the future.
