Gilbert & Sullivan Festival Announces Special Youth Shows

Kids of all ages will get a chance to witness first hand the amazing stories of Gilbert & Sullivan when America's foremost G & S repertory ensemble, the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players, continues its G&S Fest 2008, which will feature fully-staged productions of H.M.S. Pinafore, The Pirates of Penzance, The Mikado and The Gondoliers (June 6-15th) on the great stage of New York's historic City Center (West 55th Street, between 6th and 7th Avenues).

Pangs Theater Ensemble Annnounces Lorca Summer Festival

Pangs Theater Ensemble announces that, from July 18 through August 2, 2008, Intersection for the Arts will host the Lorca Summer Festival, consisting of Federico Garcia Lorca's 'rural trilogy' of plays, Blood Wedding, Yerma, and House of Bernarda Alba, which Pangs Theater Ensemble will perform in a series. The plays will be directed by Wolfgang Thompson, Pangs Theater Ensemble's Artistic Director, recognized for his modern multi-disciplinary pieces and his physical style of direction.

The production was originally scheduled to close April 19th. Mr. Blackinton will be taking over the role of Declan.
