To mark this milestone, JERSEY BOYS will have a series of events around the anniversary weekend of Saturday, November 6 through Monday, November 8. On November 7, a section of 52nd Street between Broadway and 8th Avenue was renamed 'JERSEY BOYS WALK'. Original Four Seasons Frankie Valli and Bob Gaudio, along with members of the creative team including co-authors Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, and the current cast participated in this momentous occasion.

The Empire State Building celebrated the 5th Anniversary by shining the tower in white, red, and yellow (from bottom to top as seen from the street) from Friday, November 5, until 2 a.m. Sunday, November 7. The Empire State Building celebrates many cultures and causes in the world community with their iconic lightings. Soaring 1,454 feet above Midtown Manhattan, the Empire State building is the 'World's Most Famous Office Building.' The Empire State building has been named America's favorite building in a poll conducted by the American Institute of Architects.

Deadline.com has just announced that Graham King has acquired the coveted film rights to Broadway's JERSEY BOYS for his GK Films in an auction. Deadline writes: 'Book writers Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice will write the script. King and GK Films partner Tim Headington will produce. The deal was described as 'groundbreaking;' I'm told it was a substantial seven-figures.'

Frankie Valli and Bob Gaudio - two of the original Jersey Boys of The Four Seasons - along with JERSEY BOYS: The Musical writers Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice have filed a law suit against six former JERSEY BOYS: The Musical performers, claiming that their tour, 'The Boys in Concert,' rips off of the Broadway musical in unauthorized ways. The New York Post reports today that 'The Rock 'n Roll Hall of Famer claims 'The Boys in Concert' steals songs, stage elements and copyrighted logos to dupe patrons into thinking it's an 'authorized road company' of the long-running Broadway musical.'
