After two seasons away, Cincinnati Opera today announced plans to return to Cincinnati Music Hall and the School for Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA) next June and July for its 2022 Summer Festival.

The New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players, America's preeminent professional Gilbert & Sullivan repertory company, announces their exciting Fall 2021-22 at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College which includes Season Reopening Celebration, H.M.S. Pinafore, The Pirates of Penzance, and The Gondoliers. In addition, NYGASP's 40+ year tradition of New Year's with NYGASP at the Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theater at Symphony Space. 

A new musical comedy, Mr. Saturday Night is about one man's meteoric rise to the middle. The musical is a work in development and will be presented with minimal set and costume pieces.  

The Atlanta Opera returns to the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre this season for its four mainstage productions: Handel's Julius Caesar in Egypt, Gilbert and Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance, Rossini's Barber of Seville, and Mason Bates's The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs.

The 2021-22 season will be conducted by Artistic Director and renowned conductor Ramón Tebar and include productions at the newly renovated Wang Opera Center, the II Festival Under the Stars, and an extraordinary concert with Anna Netrebko and Yusif Eyvazov at Arthrex One.

Sometimes, when life is getting you down, there is nothing more pleasing than hearing some showtunes performed by a game and capable lot of performers with the intent of nothing more controversial than lifting your spirits and entertaining you in the way they know best. ‘Express G&S’  will now play the newly configured, socially distanced Pleasance Theatre, London N1, from Wednesday 23 June  - Friday 2 July, 2021.

Elvis Presley's Graceland has announced the faculty of the 2021 Graceland Performing Arts Camp, as it returns for its third year on July 13 - 18. Special Guest Mentor this year is Patrick Dunn. Having made his NYC Theatre debut at age 12, Patrick most recently led the North American tour of the musical Les Misérables in the role of Jean Valjean.

Today, Red Bull Theater announced that Laila Robins will join the cast of the first public presentation of a new dramatization of Ben Jonson’s Sejanus, His Fall, adapted and directed by Nathan Winkelstein, Red Bull’s Associate Artistic Director. Ms Robins replaces the previously announced Kate Burton, who withdrew due to a scheduling conflict.

Following two previous Edinburgh Fringe sell-out shows (the last shortlisted for the BroadwayWorld UK 2019 award for Best Musical Production at the Fringe), Coily Dart Theatre present another brand-new comedy musical, based upon the previously untold story of the life of Helen Carte.
