The producers of the smash hit Broadway musical have announced that Joe Tippett will step into the role of Earl in Waitress on June 13, opposite Betsy Wolfe as Jenna. Will Swenson will play his final performance as Earl on June 11, 2017.

The producers of the smash hit Broadway musical have announced that Drew Gehling will reprise the role he originated when he returns to the cast of Waitress on June 27, 2017 as Dr. Pomatter, opposite Betsy Wolfe as Jenna Hunterson. Chris Diamantopoulos will play his final performance as Dr. Pomatter on June 25.

Waitress continues on a winning streak at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theatre, once again breaking the weekly gross sales record by bringing in $1,381,419.90 for the 8-performance week ending on Easter Sunday (April 16, 2017). The previous record, $1,331,954.30, was set with the nine (9) performance week ending January 1, 2017.
