Joining this year’s virtual version of the Sundance Film Festival, The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) is reimagining its Annual Sundance ASCAP Music Café, making the festival favorite accessible in a way it has never been before.

SYMPHONIE FANTASTIQUE – Basil Twist's now-legendary underwater puppet production set in a 1,000-gallon fish tank   – will be released as a film on VIDEO ON DEMAND December 18, it has been announced by Mr. Twist, who makes his full-length film directorial debut.  Created for the theater by Mr. Twist in 1998, SYMPHONIE FANTASTIQUE is set to the celebrated classic score of Hector Berlioz's 19th century composition. 

The nonprofit Sundance Institute announced today the showcase of new independent work selected across the Feature Film, Short Film, Indie Series and New Frontier categories for the 2021 Sundance Film Festival.

Following on from the success of Locked Down and All Hallow's Eve, Morpheus will open two new virtual immersive shows this Christmas. Undercover is an espionage thriller suitable for audiences over 18 and Spymaker is created for teenagers aged 13-17.

The Shed's digital commissioning program Up Close continues with new works by Mariana Valencia premiering on November 16, Ayesha Jordan with collaborator Justin Hicks premiering on November 30, and The Brothers Sick with collaborators Danilo Machado and Yo-Yo Lin premiering on December 14.

Glimmerglass Film Days begins this Thursday, November 5 with the Opening Film The Seer and the Unseen (Sara Dosa, 2019, Iceland, 82 min).
