Know Theatre has announced its 14th season producing contemporary theatre in Over-the-Rhine. The season will consist of five mainstage productions, The 9th Annual Cincinnati Fringe Festival, The Know Theatre CityBeat NYE Speakeasy Party, a national tour of Calculus: The Musical!, a few special events, and some new and returning Jackson Street Market programs.

Violinist Joshua Bell To Perform With Atl Symphony 9/30-10/2

Violinist Joshua Bell will join Music Director Robert Spano and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra September 30 and October 1, 2011, at 8:00 p.m., and October 2, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. in Atlanta Symphony Hall at the Woodruff Arts Center.
Branagh, Brydon Set for THE PAINKILLER, Sept. 29

Theatre veterans Kenneth Branagh and Rob Brydon are set to star in The Painkiller at the Lyric Theatre. The production will be a new adaptation of the Francis Veber work by Sean Foley. The show will open on September 29.

Cellist Alisa Weilerstein was today named a 2011 MacArthur Foundation Fellow. The prestigious award carries a prize of $500,000 of 'no strings attached' support over the next five years and has been dubbed the 'Genius Award'.

TWILIGHT stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson reprise their roles as Bella and Edward, with Bill Condon directing. The motion picture, which centers on the character Bella's marriage and pregnancy, will be released domestically on November 18th with Part 2 scheduled for next year. The first TWILIGHT film was a box office smash in its November 2008 debut, grossing $380 million worldwide.
