San Diego - The Old Globe is pleased to present the world-premiere musical Himself and Nora, by Jonathan Brielle (composer and co-lyricist) and Sheila Walsh (author and co-lyricist), directed by Globe Associate Artist Joseph Hardy and Jeff Calhoun. This fascinating new piece about James Joyce and his relationship with his lover and 'muse' Nora Barnacle runs in the Old Globe Theatre March 16 through April 24 (press opening: March 24).

THE LAST DAYS OF JUDAS ISCARIOT Extends Its Run Through April 3rd

LAByrinth Theater Company and The Public Theater announce that, due to audience demand, the world premiere of THE LAST DAYS OF JUDAS ISCARIOT, a new play by Stephen Adly Guirgis and directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman, will extend its run through Sunday, April 3rd. Previews began in The Public Theater's Martinson Hall on Tuesday, February 8th. The press opening is Wednesday, March 2nd. The production was originally scheduled to close Sunday, March 20th.

Michael Musto Collaborates with Newsical - Premieres March 2

Rick Crom's Newsical at Upstairs at Studio 54 (located at 254 West 54th Street between 8th and Broadway) announces the collaboration between celebrity buzz buff Michael Musto and Newsical creator Rick Crom. Every month, Musto will tip Crom off to his imminent scoops, complete with extra salacious details when applicable. Crom, in a frenzy, will then churn out what is essentially a musicalized version of the column, with a few more added endowments. The song will be called 'The Michael Musto Song', and will premiere at the Wednesday, March 2nd performance. Each new 'Musto Song' will premiere on the first Wednesday of every month.
