In response to Christian conservative leader Bob Jones III (who last year described Aquila's work as 'not acceptable fare for Christian People'), the inventive Aquila Theatre Company is inviting audience members for the World Premiere of A Very Naughty Greek Play, February 25 - March 20, at BPAC (Baruch Performing Arts Center), to dress as 'Jesus' - those who do will receive free admission to the new musical comedy.

Max von Essen Birdland Concert Cancelled/Replaced by The Marcy & Zina Show, 3/28

Unfortunately, a scheduling conflict has forced singer Max von Essen to cancel his Birdland debut on Monday, March 28. A substitute date will be announced shortly. Songwriters Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich will replace von Essen in the 7pm slot. Their Birdland concert this coming Monday, March 7, is completely sold-out, so disappointed fans will have another chance to see The Marcy & Zina Show.
