This week, critically acclaimed rock n' roll true crime podcast Disgraceland explores the disappearance and mysterious death ofRick Philp, the guitar player on Van Morrison's landmark creative statement,Astral Weeks. Philp's death came as Morrison was hiding out from the NYC mafia in Boston following a physical attack by a member of the Genovese crime family. Just weeks ago, FX premiered THE ASSASSINATION OF GIANNI VERSACE: AMERICAN CRIME STORY, the second installment of its award-winning original series. As with many other Ryan Murphy creations (executive producer/pilot director), the series is already littered with appearances from some of Broadway's finest players, an getting lots of buzz for leading man, Darren Criss.

Veteran Broadway actor, Richard Waits, is bringing Jon-Marc McDonald's anticipated play, Relatively Conscious, to the stage in February at the New York Theater Festival. The play, which centers around the murder of James Byrd Jr in 1998, will run February 6, 7, and 10th at the Hudson Guild Theater in New York City.
