The New York Musical Festival (NYMF) will honor Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award-winning actress Victoria Clark, NYMF Board Member Jill Jaysen and Tony Award-winning producers Frankel, Viertel, Baruch, Routh Group at its 2018 Gala on Sunday, November 11 at the Edison Ballroom in Midtown Manhattan (240 W 47th St, New York, NY 10036).

Phish, the American rock band known worldwide for its dedicated fan base, recently announced a 14-date Fall tour which will conclude in Las Vegas with four performances at the MGM Grand Garden Arena October 31 to November 3. All four shows are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.

Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is pleased to announce The Neave Piano Trio featuring mezzo-soprano and Metropolitan Opera singer Carla Jablonski performing the music of Astor Piazzolla on Sunday, April 14 at 3:00 PM in the magnificent, indoor Event Gallery at Bethel Woods. Part of the PLAY: The Classics series presented in collaboration with Shandelee Music Festival, the goal of this series is to encourage and foster young talented emerging artists, help to build and cultivate a younger audience and increase attendance of all ages.

Woodruff School ACE Music has announced Once on This Island Jr as their fall musical. Once on This Island Jr is a highly original theatrical adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's popular fairy tale, The Little Mermaid and the Tony-nominated Broadway musical by the legendary writing team, Ahrens and Flaherty. Through almost non-stop song and dance, this full-hearted musical tells the story of Ti Moune, a peasant girl who rescues and falls in love with Daniel, a wealthy boy from the other side of her island. When Daniel returned to his people, the fantastical gods who rule the island guide Ti Moune on a quest that will test the strength of her love against the powerful forces of prejudice, hatred and even death.

San Francisco Opera presents the West Coast premiere of It's a Wonderful Life by composer Jake Heggie and librettist Gene Scheer in nine holiday-season performances from November 17 through December 9. The two-act work, a co-commission and co-production between San Francisco Opera, Houston Grand Opera and the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, is based in part on Frank Capra's 1946 film It's a Wonderful Life and The Greatest Gift, a story by Philip Van Doren Stern.

Melodia Women's Choir of NYC, led by artistic director Cynthia Powell, is thrilled to present as part of the program Where Shadow Chases Light the world premiere performance of Red Bird, a tribute to Native-American musician, writer and activist Zitkala-Ša (1876-1938), from London-based composer and winner of Melodia's 2017 Women Composer Commission Cevanne Horrocks-Hopayian.

Baryshnikov Arts Center (BAC) concludes its Fall 2018 season on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 7:30pm with Quodlibet Ensemble: Music by Biber, Martynov + Sharlat at BAC's Jerome Robbins Theater (450 W. 37th Street). Quodlibet (Latin for 'whatever pleases') Ensemble is a string chamber orchestra of some of today's most sought-after musicians who come from top string quartets as well as period and new music groups. Highlighting their musical diversity, the ensemble performs an eclectic evening of classical music that spans different time periods and styles.

T-Shirt Theatre proudly announces the premiere of “T-Shirt Theatre presents: K?puka,” a feature-length documentary making its world premiere at the Hawaii International Film Festival in November. “T-Shirt Theatre presents: K?puka” is an anti-bullying project that addresses bullying, cyberbullying, and teen suicide prevention – written and performed by the students (aged 13-18) at T-Shirt Theatre, a performing company based in Farrington High School. Their stories, which are performed live in front of over 1,200 of their peers in a packed Farrington High School auditorium, are drawn from personal life experiences and are 100% original.

Orchestra of St. Luke's Carnegie Hall 32nd-annual series concerts commences this season on October 25 in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage, marking the official start of Bernard Labadie's tenure as Principal Conductor of the Orchestra. Bernard Labadie and OSL have chosen Haydn as the theme for his inaugural season, showcasing the Ensemble's strong affinity for this composer. Curated with an eye to interesting musical juxtapositions, the series will offer a variety of perspectives on Haydn's music and influence.  

For his inaugural season as Principal Conductor of Orchestra of St. Luke's, Bernard Labadie has curated a three-concert residency at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage-marking the 32nd year of the OSL series at Carnegie Hall-with a focus on the music and influence of Joseph Haydn. The first concert today, October 25 at 8:00 p.m., which pairs Haydn's "Nelson Mass" with Mozart's Requiem, K. 626 (revised and completed by Robert Levin), marks OSL's first collaboration with La Chapelle de Quebec, the choir founded and directed by Maestro Labadie. Soloists joining the ensembles on stage include soprano Lauren Snouffer, mezzo-soprano Susan Graham, tenor Lothar Odinius, and bass-baritone Philippe Sly.

The Verdi Chorus 35th anniversary season culminates with its Fall 2018 concert Passione! Opera! for two performances only at the First United Methodist Church in Santa Monica on November 10 and 11 led by Founding Artistic Director Anne Marie Ketchum. As the only choral group in Southern California that focuses primarily on the dramatic and diverse music for opera chorus, this program, which marks the end of a landmark year for the company, will feature selections from three Verdi operas - Aida, Don Carlo, and the famed chorus "Va, pensiero," from Nabucco, as well as operatic sequences from Boito's Mefistofele, Saint-Saens' Samson and Delilah, Catalani's La Wally and Offenbach's The Tales of Hoffmann.

The Martina Arroyo Foundation's 14th Annual Gala, a celebration of Prelude to Performance, Role Class and Outreach Programs, will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 beginning 6:30pm in the Grand Salon of the JW Marriott Essex House,160 Central Park South, NYC.

Association of Schools of Dance (NASD) has approved the Community College of Baltimore County's Dance program for initial accreditation. This designation is based on an NASD site visit and an intensive self-study.

Saatchi Art's The Other Art Fair ("The Fair"), a leading international art fair championing emerging and independent contemporary artists, announces its features and programming for its Los Angeles Fall 2018 edition. The Other Art Fair returns to Los Angeles on October 25-28 at the Santa Monica Barker Hangar, where 130 artists from around the world will showcase their works alongside exclusive new artwork by Guest Artist Gary Baseman and a special all-women exhibition entitled 31 Women.

Coney Island USA, the non-profit multi-arts center dedicated to the economic and cultural revitalization of its iconic neighborhood, will hold its 2018 fall fundraiser on Saturday, November 10. Proceeds from the "Raise the Roof" benefit will help fund vital structural repairs to the organization's landmarked headquarters at 1208 Surf Avenue, which currently houses the beloved Freak Bar, the Coney Island Museum, and the Sideshows by the Seashore theater.  

Silverstein have confirmed the second leg of the 15th anniversary tour celebrating their landmark debut album When Broken Is Easily Fixed. The additional leg takes place in early 2019.

On the evening of October 17th, American Ballet Theatre kicked of its much-anticipated fall season at the David H. Koch Theater. Dedicated to celebrating the power and innovation of female choreography, the night welcomed a bevy of audience goers, from everyday ballet enthusiasts to arts advocates to well-known celebrities. With the mood in the air being electric, sparkling with the promise of anticipation, the program had to deliver with bold excitement.

Swedish recording artist Tove Styrke has released a brand new track titled 'Vibe.' The song is a fresh addition to her new album, Sway, and is out now via Sony Music Sweden/RCA Records. Listen here.
