The Royal Opera House today announces its 2022/23 Season, unveiling a rich range of new work, world premieres and beloved revivals. Over 40 productions, performed by an incredible roster of international stars and created in collaboration with global companies, will be accompanied by more than 200 events and activities in our stunning Covent Garden Home, and outreach programmes reaching more than 27,000 children across the UK. 

Opera Ithaca presents Mozart's genius comedy, The Marriage of Figaro, at Hamblin Hall at the Community School for Music and Arts on April 8 at 7:00 PM and April 10 at 2:00 PM.

Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) and Queensland Theatre have revealed the stars of The Sunshine Club, a revival of The Sunshine Club, that will swing into the Playhouse from 9 to 30 July 2022.

Vancouver Opera will conclude its 2021-2022 season with HMS Pinafore by acclaimed creative duo W.S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan. This April, the English National Opera's (ENO) Artistic Director Annilese Miskimmon will make her company directorial debut with a powerful new production of Poul Ruders' The Handmaid's Tale. Based on Margaret Atwood's seminal novel, this outstandingly relevant work was last staged at the London Coliseum in 2003 when it received its first English language debut. 

Orchestral music will be accompanied by the breathtaking views of the Wasatch Range in Park City this summer at the Utah Symphony's 18th annual Deer Valley Music Festival. The six-week summer concert series, which runs from July 1 through August 6, features a diverse musical lineup, showcasing the versatility of Utah Symphony musicians as they perform music ranging from classical to alternative rock.

Gounod's masterpiece of grand French opera, Roméo et Juliette, continues San Diego Opera's 2021-2022 season when it opens on Saturday, March, 26, 2022 for four performances at the San Diego Civic Theatre. Additional performances are March 29, April 1, and 3 (matinee), 2022.

Houston Grand Opera has announced its 2022–23 season, featuring a new production of Dame Ethel Smyth's rarely-performed masterpiece The Wreckers, the triumphant return of HGO-commissioned mariachi opera El Milagro del Recuerdo, the U.S. premieres of Opéra National de Paris and Royal Opera House's production of Werther and the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía of Valencia's production of Salome, and beloved HGO classics La traviata, The Marriage of Figaro, and Tosca.

March and April 2022 at the Center for the Arts at George Mason University continues its season with exciting in-person programming for the 2021/2022 Great Performances at Mason with three engagements from Mason Artists-in-Residence, including the artists from SW!NG OUT, Camille A. This March, the 'hilarious production' that 'combines clever comedy and sublime arias' (Daily Express), Mozart's Così fan tutte returns to the English National Opera (ENO). Last staged in 2014, Mozart's dark comic masterpiece that is 'funny, fast and farcical' (What's On Stage), is brought to life by the multi-award winning director and Artistic Director of Improbable, Phelim McDermott. 

Music Director James Conlon will conduct three mainstage productions and Colombian-American conductor Lina González-Granados will make her company debut as Resident Conductor, the first Latina to hold a high-ranking conducting position with a major U.S. opera company. 

Joining Ralph Fiennes (Robert Moses) in the world premiere of David Hare's Straight Line Crazy are Alisha Bailey (Mariah Heller), Samuel Barnett (Ariel Porter), David Bromley (Stamford Fergus), Al Coppola (Walter McQuade), Siobhán Cullen (Finnuala Connell), Ian Kirkby (Lewis Mumford), Alana Maria (Shirley Hayes), Dani Moseley (Carol Ames), Guy Paul (Henry Vanderbilt), Helen Schlesinger (Jane Jacobs), Mary Stillwaggon Stewart (Nicole Sawyer) and Danny Webb (Governor Al Smith).

The 2022 Waterperry Opera Festival will run Friday 12th - Saturday 20th August. The box office opens 11th April.
