Dylan McDermott Joins Cast of 'Three Changes' This Fall

Golden Globe winner and Emmy Award nominee Dylan McDermott has joined the cast of Playwrights Horizon's first production of the new season, the World Premiere of THREE CHANGES, a new play by Nicky Silver. Directed by Tony Award nominee Wilson Milam (The Lieutenant of Inishmore), the production will begin previews on Friday, August 22, 2008 with an Opening Night set for Tuesday, September 16. The limited engagement will run through Sunday, September 28 at Playwrights Horizons Mainstage Theater (416 West 42nd Street).

They recall promises from earlier times, hold the specter of wounds left unhealed, and have the ability to direct the course of one's life, as shown in Stacey Lane's comedy-drama A THOUSAND VARIATIONS ON A LIE TOLD ONCE. Directed by Brad Fryman and presented by the Oberon Theatre Ensemble, A THOUSAND VARIATIONS will begin performances on July 19th at the Dorothy Strelsin Theatre, located at 312 West 36th Street, as part of the Ninth Annual Midtown International Theatre Festival.

Casts include Annie Golden, former lead singer for 'The Shirts' who has appeared in the movie HAIR; Marin Hinkle from CBS' TWO AND A HALF MEN; Annie Parisse from NBC's LAW & ORDER; Jenny Ikeda from MTC's acclaimed production of TOP GIRLS; and Dan Lauria from the long running series THE WONDER YEARS. Singer, songwriter and Tony Award winning Stew from the musical PASSING STRANGE will also be writing new music for one of the plays.
