 The Daily Show with Trevor Noah will be live on July 30 and 31, providing instant analysis and late-night's earliest commentary about the Democratic Party's second 2020 Presidential Primary Debates. As part of its Votegasm 2020 coverage, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah will air live, back-to-back nights on Tuesday, July 30 and Wednesday, July 31 at 11:00 p.m. ET on Comedy Central and react in real time to both debates across its social media accounts.

Presented by Asian CineVision, the 42nd Asian American International Film Festival (AAIFF42), and taking place July 25 – August 3 in New York City, has announced its full film lineup. The first and longest running Asian interest film festival in the country, AAIFF42 will be presenting 12 narrative features, 9 documentary features, and 67 short films, from 19 countries.

Bette Midler is set to perform at New York's Pride Main Event on Saturday June 29 at the Javits Center, according to Variety. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Stonewall, she'll perform accompanied by "Hairspray" and "Mary Poppins Returns" composer Marc Shaiman. Midler's special performance is set for 11 p.m.

Disney's live-action film adaptation of The Lion King has the second best first-day sale of the year for Fandango and the Atom Tickets' best first-day sales for a family movie in its first 24 hours of advance ticket sales, according to Deadline.

The Crossing and Donald Nally have won the 2019 Grammy Award for Best Choral Performance for their recording of Lansing McLoskey's Zealot Canticles. The award was presented yesterday, February 10, 2019, at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. This marks the Philadelphia new-music choir's second consecutive Grammy in the category, previously winning the 2018 Grammy for Gavin Bryars' The Fifth Century with PRISM Saxophone Quartet on ECM. The Crossing's recording of Thomas Lloyd's Bonhoeffer (Albany 2016) was nominated for the 2017 Grammy in the same category.
