Re-imagining the fabled tale of a folklore favourite has been the latest creative challenge for Chris de Burgh, and his new album, The Legend of Robin Hood, finds the iconic artist at his imaginative best.

Baryshnikov Arts Center (BAC) opens its fall 2021 digital season with In Conversation with Merce, a filmed presentation featuring a suite of solos and duets from Merce Cunningham's Landrover, and two world premieres by Liz Gerring and Kyle Abraham created in response to the 1972 work. The Almeida Theatre has announced the full cast for the world premiere of Josh Azouz’s Once Upon a Time in Nazi Occupied Tunisia. Eleanor Rhode directs Adrian Edmondson, Laura Hanna, Ethan Kai, Pierro Niel-Mee, Yasmin Paige and Daniel Rainford in the production which runs from Saturday 21 August – Saturday 18 September.

Set in Jerusalem and inspired by a true story, this black comedy tells the story of a family of Palestinians who are forced, by court ruling, to share their home with a group of Israeli settlers.  Speaking directly to the situation today, this timely production balances humour, storytelling and metaphor, to give audiences a fresh perspective on the Middle East.

Antaeus Theatre Company launches their second season of their popular podcasts THE ZIP CODE PLAYS: LOS ANGELES May 20, 2021. Each play, set in six different L.A. zip codes, features acclaimed Antaeus actors enacting scripts written by members of the Antaeus Playwright Lab. Two-time Audiofile Award-winner Ramón de Ocampo reprises his role of series host, with Jeff Gardner and Ellen Mandel returning in their respective roles as audio producer/sound designer/foley artist and music composer.
