As BroadwayWorld reported last night, after originating the role on the West End, Killian Donnelly is headed across the pond to lead the Broadway company of Kinky Boots as Charlie Price. First reported by journalist Baz Bamigboye, and confirmed by the actor via Twitter, Donnelly will take over from Aaron C. Finley on December 6th, and is expected to stay for a six-month run through late May.

A sensational cast of Australian and international performers will star in the premiere season of multi award-winning musical Kinky Boots at Her Majesty's Theatre, Melbourne from tonight 12 October 2016.

KINKY BOOTS producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig, along with Grammy and Tony Award-winner Cyndi Lauper and Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein, are encouraging people to get out the vote on November 8th. Fierstein and Lauper surprised a recent audience at the Tony Award-winning musical, and joined the cast on stage for a reworked version of the show's Act 1 finale 'Everybody Say Yeah,' and then helped patrons register to vote. 'Kinky Boots' plays at DPAC through September 18

Kinky Boots, now in its second year and the winner of every major Best Musical award, today announces the opening of a new booking period, with tickets now available until Saturday 6 May 2017. Tickets for this extended period will go on sale from Friday 9 September 2016, the day after the production celebrates its first birthday in the West End.

Aaron C. Finley, Shannon O'Boyle and Haven Burton joined the cast of the Tony Award-winning musical Kinky Boots earlier this summer in the roles of Charlie Price, Nicola and Lauren, respectively. Today, Saturday 13th August 2016, is my last day at Kinky Boots on Broadway, and I couldn't let the moment pass without publicly yelling out my gratitude for the whole experience.

Over the weekend the Broadway company of KINKY BOOTS bid farewell to original cast member, and long-time Charlie Price, Andy Kelso. After beginning with the production in the original reading, Kelso went on to originate the role of Harry in the 2013 Tony-winning Best Musical.
