BWW Reviews: The Texas Repertory Theatre's BOEING BOEING is Light-Hearted Fun
by David Clarke - Mar 24, 2014

Marc Camoletti's 1960 play BOEING BOEING was translated into English by Beverly Cross. The comedic piece found success in London, running for seven years in its original production, but it failed to capture American audiences. In 1991, it was named in the Guinness Book of Records as the most performed French play throughout the world, and The Texas Repertory Theatre's sprightly production certainly indicates why it is so endearing.

BWW Reviews: BOEING-BOEING Takes Off at Fells Point Corner Theatre
by Giordana Segneri - Jan 12, 2014

Bernard, a dashing American living in Paris, chooses his fiancees carefully: They're all-yes, all three-air hostesses, as they were called in the bon vivant '60s, when Boeing-Boeing takes place, and their names all begin with G. The better to ensure no embarrassing mix-ups. But leave it French playwright Marc Camoletti to ensure myriad mix-ups that make for a masterful farce in Fells Point Corner Theatre's uproarious and entertaining adaptation of his 1962 play.

LES MISERABLES, BOEING BOEING & More Set for Cortland Rep's 2014 Summer Season
by Tyler Peterson - Nov 12, 2013

Cortland Repertory Theatre, one of New York State's longest running professional summer theatres, is announcing their 43rd annual season for the summer of 2014. Producing Artistic Director Kerby Thompson says that variety is the key element that he and the CRT Board of Directors Play Review Committee look for in putting an exciting season together. "The committee and I read a lot of different plays, and look for how best to piece an exciting season together." Other items such as the number of actors in the casts, expense of costumes and sets, and the estimated popularity of the shows also play a part. "Additionally, because we hire actors and technicians from around the country, we need to provide housing for them, so that also becomes a major factor in deciding if and when to do a show." Thompson says.
