Roundabout Theatre Company's (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) limited engagement of Les Liaisons Dangereuses will play its final performance on Sunday, July 6th at 2:00 PM. This revival of Christopher Hampton's classic Les Liaisons Dangereuses stars Laura Linney as 'La Marquise de Merteuil' and Ben Daniels as 'Le Vicomte de Valmont,' and is directed by Rufus Norris at the American Airlines Theatre (227 West 42nd St).

The Jove's recent appearances include the 2007 Miami Improv Festival opening for The Groundlings from Los Angeles and Upright Citizens Brigade from New York City. It was their third straight year performing at the Miami Improv Festival, a collection of the nation's best Improv comedy troupes. The Jove has also been invited to perform on the main stage at Artigras 2006, as well as countless corporate training and entertainment events all across Palm Beach County, including the Kravis Center, The Maltz Jupiter Theater, Duncan Theater and The Cuillo Centre for the Arts. The group received a 2005 Impy award for best sketch comedy in Palm Beach County. They were also an integral part in raising thousands of dollars for the American Red Cross in 2004 and 2005, donating proceeds from their show to benefit hurricane victims.

Bellport's Gateway Playhouse Keeps Rolling Along

Gateway Playhouse in Bellport remains and is so popular that local residents know better than to drive along South Country Road at certain hours lest they become entangled in traffic either entering or exiting the theater.
The Gateway Playhouse is located on the site of the former Mott Estate on the eastern-most tip of Bellport , New York . Rumors are rife about the ghost of Lucretia Mott still haunting one of the buildings on the premises but she seems to be benign and hasn't caused any significant problems in the past few decades.
