JERRY’S GIRLS celebrates the life and legacy of legendary award-winning Broadway composer Jerry Herman.



Starring Cassidy Janson (Olivier Award winner for & Juliet), Jessica Martin (Mack & Mabel) and Julie Yammasee (Bonnie & Clyde), with songs from such timeless musicals as Mame, Hello Dolly!, Milk & Honey, Mack & Mabel, and La Cage Aux Folles, JERRY’S GIRLS comes to the Menier Chocolate Factory for 6 weeks only!



Jerry Herman’s list of awards and honours is seemingly endless – it includes multiple Tony, Grammy, Olivier and Drama Desk Awards, the Johnny Mercer Award, the Richard Rodgers Award, the Oscar Hammerstein Award, and an entry into the Theatre Hall of Fame.



Directed by Hannah Chissick, with Olivier Award winner Matt Cole (Choreography), Tony Award winner Sarah Travis (Musical Supervision & Arrangements), and an all-female band, this new production plays from 18 May - 29 June in a strictly limited run.

Sydney's Genesian Theatre has announced an all-female cast for its forthcoming tribute to the late playwright and lyricist, Nick Enright - Enright On The Night. Enright On The Night is devised by David Mitchell and Melvyn Morrow. The pair were actually introduced to each other by Enright and have devised the show especially for the Genesian Theatre, where Enright made his debut at the tender age of 21.

On November 1, 2018, The New York Landmarks Conservancy will host its 25th Living Landmarks Celebration at The Plaza.  In addition to Chita Rivera, this year's honorees are Stephen S. Lash, Lynden B. Miller, Liz & Jeffrey Peek, Thomas Sculco MD, Ruth Lande Shuman, Michael I. Sovern and Peter Stangl.  The host for the evening is Living Landmark David Patrick Columbia, and music will be provided by Living Landmark Peter Duchin and his Orchestra.  Living Landmarks Arie L. Kopelman and Leonard Lauder are Honorary Co-Chairs for the evening.  More than 500 guests are expected to attend this 25th annual tribute.

Artists Repertory Theatre kicks off its 2018/19 season with Skeleton Crew by Dominique Morisseau, directed by William (Bill) Earl Ray. Skeleton Crew is the third play in Morisseau's The Detroit Project (A 3-Play Cycle) following Detroit '67 and Paradise Blue. For Skeleton Crew, Morisseau received a 2016 Obie Award and the play was selected for the 2014 Kilroy List. Skeleton Crew runs from September 2 through September 30 on the Morrison Stage.

NEW STANDARDS gives a nod to the golden age of jazz and standards and moreover, it is his personal statement. NEW STANDARDS promises to bring the audience on a journey of Ford's evolution - both personal and artistic. NEW STANDARDS will run the gamut from original vocal jazz compositions to contemporary tunes reimagined in the jazz idiom. The stories are deeply personal, from fatherlessness to breaking through unworthiness.

On Monday, May 7th The League of Professional Theatre Women (Kelli Lynn Harrison & Lisa Rothe, Co-Presidents), an organization which has been leading the gender parity conversation and championing women in the professional theatre for over 35 years, presented the final Oral History event of their 2017-18 season with two-time Tony Award winner Chita Rivera in the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts (111 Amsterdam Avenue at 65th Street). Ms. Rivera talked about her life and illustrious career with Broadway World's lead correspondent, Richard Ridge, host of Backstage with Richard Ridge.
