Next week, FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond.

Andrea McArdle debuts a brand new show at Feinstein's/54 Below on Thursday, June 20 - 22, 2019! During this very special run she celebrates The Great American Songbook, Broadway, and contemporary music. Nominations for the 2019 Chita Rivera Awards were announced today. In keeping with the mission of the Chita Rivera Awards, nominators considered shows and films that opened during the 2018-2019 theater season.

Sydney's Genesian Theatre has announced an all-female cast for its forthcoming tribute to the late playwright and lyricist, Nick Enright - Enright On The Night. Enright On The Night is devised by David Mitchell and Melvyn Morrow. The pair were actually introduced to each other by Enright and have devised the show especially for the Genesian Theatre, where Enright made his debut at the tender age of 21.

Chita Rivera recently chatted with Graham Norton on his radio show to discuss her extensive career. She also talked about the upcoming West Side Story film.

Back by popular demand, the two-time-Tony Award winning Broadway legend, Chita Rivera, returns to Feinstein's/54 Below in her acclaimed solo concert for eight performances next week: January 9, 10, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18, 19 at 7PM. There is a $85 cover charge, and a $25 food and beverage minimum. Premium seating is available for $140-145.

Legendary Broadway icon and Tony Award-winner Chita Rivera will headline the Garden Theatre's annual Encore celebration on March 9, 2019. Ms. Rivera will perform her signature songs and share behind-the-scenes stories from her illustrious career. Corporate sponsorship packages are available now for the Garden's benefit gala. Individual tickets ($125 - $325) will be available starting Thursday, December 6 at 12:00 pm.

Tony Award winning maestro Don Pippin will celebrate his sixty plus years on Broadway with the intimate musical revue, WHAT I DID FOR LOVE: THE MUSIC & MEMORIES OF DON PIPPIN, at Feinstein's/54 Below today, October 30th, 2018, at 7:00pm.

On November 1, 2018, The New York Landmarks Conservancy will host its 25th Living Landmarks Celebration at The Plaza.  In addition to Chita Rivera, this year's honorees are Stephen S. Lash, Lynden B. Miller, Liz & Jeffrey Peek, Thomas Sculco MD, Ruth Lande Shuman, Michael I. Sovern and Peter Stangl.  The host for the evening is Living Landmark David Patrick Columbia, and music will be provided by Living Landmark Peter Duchin and his Orchestra.  Living Landmarks Arie L. Kopelman and Leonard Lauder are Honorary Co-Chairs for the evening.  More than 500 guests are expected to attend this 25th annual tribute.

Artists Repertory Theatre kicks off its 2018/19 season with Skeleton Crew by Dominique Morisseau, directed by William (Bill) Earl Ray. Skeleton Crew is the third play in Morisseau's The Detroit Project (A 3-Play Cycle) following Detroit '67 and Paradise Blue. For Skeleton Crew, Morisseau received a 2016 Obie Award and the play was selected for the 2014 Kilroy List. Skeleton Crew runs from September 2 through September 30 on the Morrison Stage.

Rebel Theatrical Management, LLC (Harvey Butler, producer), in association with The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture, have announced, today, the cast and the creative team for the New York premiere of the new play Little Rock, written and directed by Rajendra Ramoon Maharaj. Performances are set to begin Wednesday, May 30, 2018 for a limited run through September 8, 2018 at The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture (18 Bleecker Street). Opening Night is set for Today, June 14, 2018 at 7:00PM.

In accepting her award, she said, 'I wouldn't trade my life in the theatre for anything, because theatre is life.' The legendary triple-threat closed her speech saying, 'There's still a lot of salt left in this shaker.'

Broadway legend Chita Rivera will be presented with a Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre at the 72nd Annual Tony Awards on June 10, 2018. This award recognizes theatre artists that have made significant contributions to theatre throughout their life.

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Darrian Ford singing his brand new album, NEW STANDARDS. NEW STANDARDS gives a nod to the golden age of jazz and standards and moreover, it is his personal statement. NEW STANDARDS promises to bring the audience on a journey of Ford's evolution - both personal and artistic. NEW STANDARDS will run the gamut from original vocal jazz compositions to contemporary tunes reimagined in the jazz idiom. The stories are deeply personal, from fatherlessness to breaking through unworthiness. 

Club 11 London & Alex Parker Theatre Company in partnership are excited to announce further casting for The Light Princess in Concert, featuring already announced Rosalie Craig and Hadley Fraser, at Cadogan Hall at 630pm, Sunday 1st July 2018, directed by Paul Foster and musical direction under Alex Parker.

On Friday, May 11, PBS will present an encore broadcast of their enormously successful Great Performances special Chita Rivera: A Lot of Livin' to Do, a career retrospective of the legendary theatrical icon. The program features interviews, archival performance footage and songs from Rivera's concert repertoire including such numbers as "A Boy Like That," "America," "A Lot of Livin' to Do," "All That Jazz," and "Nowadays."  The encore broadcast will air in the New York area on THIRTEEN/WNET Friday, May 11 at 10:00 PM ET. On Monday, May 7th The League of Professional Theatre Women (Kelli Lynn Harrison & Lisa Rothe, Co-Presidents), an organization which has been leading the gender parity conversation and championing women in the professional theatre for over 35 years, presented the final Oral History event of their 2017-18 season with two-time Tony Award winner Chita Rivera in the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts (111 Amsterdam Avenue at 65th Street). Ms. Rivera talked about her life and illustrious career with Broadway World's lead correspondent, Richard Ridge, host of Backstage with Richard Ridge.
