It has been reported that tonight's performance of Hello Dolly! was stopped after the show's star, Tony Award winner, Bette Midler fell from a moving set piece during the show.

Producer Scott Rudin announced today that Tony Award® winner Gavin Creel and Tony Award nominee Kate Baldwin have extended their runs in the most successful and beloved Broadway production of the year: Hello, Dolly!

As BroadwayWorld reported this morning, Charlie Stemp will make his Broadway debut as Barnaby Tucker in the most successful and beloved Broadway production of the year: Hello, Dolly!. Mr. Stemp will begin performances opposite the previously announced stars Bernadette Peters and Victor Garber on Saturday evening, January 20, 2018, prior to a Thursday, February 22 opening night. Taylor Trensch will play his final performance as Barnaby Tucker on Sunday, January 14.

Jerry Herman's anthemic masterpiece, 'Before the Parade Passes By', has been the center of the title character's journey in the classic musical, Hello Dolly! for over fifty years. With it's determined spirit and pick-yourself-up-by-the-bootstraps message, the song is a stand alone declaration of self-reliance, bravery, and freedom.

It was recently announced that three-time Tony winner Bernadette Peters will take over as Dolly Levi in Hello, Dolly!, opposite Victor Garber as Horace Vandergelder. Ms. Peters will begin performances Saturday evening, January 20, 2018, prior to a Thursday, February 22 opening night. BWW has learned that Tony Award-winning actress Donna Murphy will play her final performance as Dolly Gallagher Levi in HELLO DOLLY!
