Cleopatra Reimagined – A Journey of Resilience and Mental Health
Join us at the Cornish Playhouse for the premiere of Woman With No Wings, presented by Mohini Dance School in a limited engagement from September 27-29. This production is a bold and innovative fusion of English drama and Indian Classical Dance, exploring the theme of mental health awareness through the lens of an iconic historical figure.
Far from just a ruler of ancient Egypt, Cleopatra emerges as a woman wrestling with profound personal and societal challenges. Woman With No Wings takes you beyond the crown and into the heart of her struggles, blending intense narrative, dynamic dance, and original music to explore themes of mental health and resilience.
Featuring originally designed costumes, sets, and choreography, and a talented cast of over 50 Seattle area actors and dancers, this production invites you on a courageous journey that promises to elevate the arts and amplify a vital social message.
SHOWS:
Friday, September 27: 7 p.m.
Saturday, September 28: 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Sunday, September 29: 2 p.m.
