The First Annual Seattle Puppetry Improvisation Festival will be taking place at Unexpected Productions from Nov 16th to the 20th. This will be an amazing week that explores the art of puppetry and improv. This is the first puppetry improv festival in the world. The festival will host some of the most innovative and original improvised ever gathered. Audiences will enjoy some of the most innovative improv they have ever seen.
We will also be offering classes on puppet building, operation and different styles of improvisational puppetry -- for all skill levels. Keep an eye out for announcements of workshops, classes, shows and guest performers.
This is a one of a kind festival bringing together people from all over the world in a celebration of all different kinds of puppetry. The goal is to make improvised puppetry accessible to everyone and celebrate a movement in the making. If you are a fan of improv, puppets or comedy, you won't want to miss this hysterical and informative mashup.
