New Muses is pleased to present a new production of Henrik Ibsens epic adventure PEER GYNT. Based on classic Norwegian folk tales, Ibsens sprawling masterpiece is the story of a man struggling to find purpose in life as he journeys the world from the wilds of Norway to the deserts of Egypt and home again. PEER GYNT is presented with two parts playing in repertory: Part One: Youth and Part Two: Revenant. The production features a new adaptation from managing artistic director Niclas Olson who also directs. The cast includes Alex Gust, Austin Matteson, Eric Cuestas-Thompson, Emily Robinson, Katelyn Hoffman, and Melanie Schaffer, who portray over 50 characters, along with Olson in the title role. The two part production plays April 27-May 21 at the Dukesbay Theater in Tacoma. More information and performance schedules at www.NewMuses.com
