Storyteller Larry Hohm tells stories with an edge—compelling works of fiction written by accomplished authors. These are not readings; Larry tells the stories from memory without notes. Listen to stories come alive from a master storyteller!
These are dark tales — not for the faint of heart. Come enjoy chilling stories by Shirley Jackson, Anna Starobinets, Fredrick Brown, and Ursula K. Le Guin.
He lives in Seattle and has been telling stories for eight years. He performs frequently at private parties, at the Northwest Folklife Festival, and at the Swedish Club in Seattle. He is on the Board of the Seattle Storytellers Guild, and is an Artist in Residence with Earth Creative. He has made video recordings of many stories, and posts them on YouTube; his website has links to all of his recordings: https://www.larryhohm.org
He earned a B.A. and Ph.D. in Philosophy, and taught Philosophy at a number of universities for six years. He then switched to the software industry, and enjoyed a thirty-two year career as a software engineer. He retired in July of this year, and is now spending more time telling stories.
