Inspired by the visual style of Hollywood icon Tim Burton, Faeries of Stratford is a magical tale unlike any other. Called by Jerry Kraft of seattleactor.com as "fearless and imaginative", David Kulcsar brings to the stage another original work, enlivened by the private life of William Shakespeare and his plays. Combining historical fact with fantasy, Faeries of Stratford explores the man -- and the women -- behind the legend who has captivated the world for over three hundred years.
Opening September 4th at the Seattle Public Theater and running for only 7 total shows, tickets are $20 apiece for all (online purchases include a small service charge.) Tickets are available at the door, but are sold on a first come first serve basis, and are not guaranteed. PLEASE NOTE: Tickets for the Thursday evening show are $15.
The cast, including David Kulcsar as William Shakespeare, stars newcomer Natalie Gress as Susanna Shakespeare and Caitlin Petrie as William's wife, Anne Hathaway; with Seattle veterans Robert Fuentes and Natalie Schmidt rounding out the cast as John Heminges and Melpomene, the Muse of Tragedy, respectively.
RAFFLE EVENT! Everyone who purchases a ticket online between August 15th and August 25th will be entered to win a Complete Works of William Shakespeare, published and printed in 1884! And for a book over 130 years old, it's in great condition!! Tickets are available for purchase at the door at 6:30 P.M. Doors open at 7:00 P.M. Showtime is 7:30 P.M.
