Ballyhoo Theatre and Edmonds College are excited to announce our Mainstage production of A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD. This co-production will be COMPLETELY FREE for all audience members, for the entire run. In our efforts to create more accessible theatre-going experiences, we will have a sensory-friendly performance, a shortened performance for families with younger children, as well as an ASL interpreted show for our Deaf and hard-of-hearing patrons.
Based on Arnold Lobel's well-loved books, and featuring a wonderful score by Robert and Willie Reale, this whimsical show follows two great friends – the cheerful Frog and the rather grumpy Toad – through four fun-filled seasons. Waking from hibernation in the Spring, Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding and learn life lessons along the way. The two best friends celebrate and rejoice in the differences that make them unique and special.
