Page to stage in 24 hours... twice.
Join us for this season's only 48-Hour Festival this season and help us bring our new space to life with twelve new plays. Six playwrights each night are tasked with writing new 10-minute plays based on a randomly drawn theme Friday evening.. Teams are randomly drawn as well, and actors, directors, and writers meet Saturday morning to memorize lines, make props and costumes and bring their plays to life for our festival audiences. Six world premiere plays take the stage at 7:30pm and 9:30pm. With the help of our audience, a new theme is drawn and we do it all again for Sunday night.
Sleep deprivation and chaotic inspiration make for some high-wire theater by a stellar group of veteran 48-ers along with some first timers.
A new line-up of plays each night!
Idiom Theater is at 1417 Cornwall Ave, Bellingham, WA 98225, Bellingham, WA.
