Whidbey Island Center for the Arts Presents WOW! STORIES, 6/30

Whidbey Island Center for the Arts presents a special event, WOW! Stories, presentations and performances by Whidbey Island women, on Saturday, June 30, 9 AM – 3 PM.

WOW! Stories is a day chock full of riveting short presentations from amazing women of Whidbey on the passions in their lives. Participants include locals Shannon Arndt, Celina Dill, Mary Fisher, Sarri Gilman, Maureen Girard, Suzanne Kelman, Amber Kizer, Diana Lindsay, Ann Medlock, Betsy MacGregor, Golda Moore, Cary Peterson, Laura Price, Vicki Robin, Peggy Taylor, and Veronica von Allworden. WOW! Stories moderators will be local favorites Rene Neff & Lynn Willeford.

Mixed throughout the day will be remarkable performances by Karin Blaine and Siri Bardarson, Deana Duncan, Island Dance and Nancy Nolan. There will also be surprise activities led by

Amanda Murphy and Chizue Rudd.

WOW! Stories is a benefit for Whidbey Island Center for the Arts and Whidbey Island Nourishes (WIN). WIN will provide a delicious lunch for WOW! attendees. Everyone is welcome.

"WOW! Stories" is on Saturday, June 30, starting with a coffee at 9 AM, presentations and performances begin at 9:30 AM, WOW ends 3 PM. Tickets are available through the WICA box office at (360) 221-8268 or 800/638.7631.
