Summer at WICA Performance Program provides an environment for experienced, beginning, and non-actors to gather for readings, to learn reading and performance technique, and to become acquainted with a broad theatrical repertoire without the pressure of a full performance. This program presents audiences with high-quality work that entertains, challenges, and stimulates; provides a venue and support Whidbey Island artists who create this work; provides a Summer Training Program for diverse audiences and aspiring local artists to encourage the growth and continued health of the local performing arts community; and creates experiences that solidifies Whidbey Island as a performing arts destination. See the 2013 performance info here.
