Whidbey Children's Theater to Offer 'Create Your Own Story' Summer Camps, Aug 2013

As WCT prepares to make its exciting move to the Langley Middle School auditorium this summer, the theater is happy to be able to rent space from the South Whidbey Parks and Rec to offer three fun youth theater camps! To sign-up, call 221-8707 or email wct.operations@gmail.com.

Camp Location: South Whidbey Parks & Recreation Building in the Recreation Room, 5475 Maxwelton Road Langley, WA 98260.

First Week: Monday Aug. 12th- Thursday Aug. 15th

Create Your Own Story: Ages 3-5

Taught by Ahna Dunn-Wilder

9am-12pm

10 kids total

$75 per student

Through our creative play we will develop teamwork and stretch our imaginations utilizing the fun of movement and make-believe!

Create Your Own Story: Ages 6-9

Taught by Ahna Dunn-Wilder

1pm-4pm

15 kids total

$75 per student

Together we will spend the week creating a fun and engaging performance to share with parents and friends at the end of the week. The camp will be guided by the participants involved and so will be tailored to the needs and passions of the campers. The result will be a fun and engaging way to explore theater and self-identity.

Second Week: Monday Aug. 19th- Friday Aug. 23rd

Drama in the Sun: Ages 10-18

Taught by Ahna Dunn-Wilder

10am-4pm

20 kids total

$100 per student

Come join us for a relaxed and fun week with Whidbey Children's Theater. We'll spend time working on basic theater technique, playing theater and improv games, and just generally have a super fun time hanging out! Over the course of the week we will also develop a fun creation to share with parents and friends at the end of the week.
