An Equity Member Project Code Production of two short comedies, one serious dose of fun. Paul O'Connell directs veteran actors David S. Klein, Ruth McRee, Eleanor Moseley* and Christine Mosere* in this delightful double-bill of One-Acts.
Two comic gems, penned by Elaine May and Arthur Miller (who knew?). A wicked cat-and-mouse power play in an uptown penthouse. A funny, poignant exploration of just how much candor and honesty an old friendship can bear. Who's in charge here? And who can remember anyway?
THE WAY OF ALL FISH - Eleanor Moseley* a condescending boss and Christine Mosere* her devoted secretary (both appearing Courtesy of Actors' Equity Association) face-off to determine who's stronger. "Oodles of laughs" (NY Daily News) erupt from the ping-pong power game played out between them.
I CAN'T REMEMBER ANYTHING - Arthur Miller's sly sense of humor permeates the banter as Ruth McRee's wealthy widow Leonora shares her views of the world becoming increasingly vile. Her old friend Leo-- a pragmatic, doctrinaire communist played by David S. Klein-- refuses to relinquish his hopes for the future. Humor and affection spiked with stinging exchanges express their conflicting views of life's "truths".
