Village Theater's On The Town With Village Theatre To Be Held 5/16

Village Theatre announces its Annual Auction & Gala, On the Town with Village Theatre set to take place at the grand Fairmount Olympic Hotel in downtown Seattle. The event will feature a live musical theatre performance and elegant four-course gourmet dinner, complete with fine wines. Serving as auctioneer is local TV favorite and Emmy-award winning broadcast personality, John Curley, star of KING-5's Evening Magazine.

This event will help raise vital funds that enable the theatre to achieve the following:

• Support Village Theatre's acclaimed Mainstage productions.

Fund the growth of Village Theatre's KIDSTAGE and Pied Piper youth education programs that serve over 54,000 young people, families, and schools annually
• Further our commitment to the development of new musicals as a part of Village Theatre's nationally-recognized Village Originals program-80 new musicals and counting.

In addition to an elegant dinner, On the Town with Village Theatre will feature both silent and live auctions, giving patrons a chance to bid on, among other items, a trip for two to Washington D.C. to feel the political heat, an exotic African Safari for two, an exciting New York theatre trip into the heart of Broadway and Times Square, an adorable Labradoodle puppy, and many more unique and exciting opportunities.
