Theatre9/12 Announces YOU ARE RIGHT, IF YOU THINK Image

The circus of current politics adds new acts almost daily, but a persistent cloud hanging over the country is the tunnel-vision view of our own opinions that prevents honest exchange, compromise and growth. Luigi Pirandello's 1917 comedy, "Right You Are, If You Think You Are," offered that the truth of reality is only as strong as the beliefs in our minds. Theatre9/12's artistic director, Charles Waxberg, adapts the comedy for a modern audience at a time when reality is our opinions, and the other side is the enemy. You Are Right, If You Think, in it's world premiere, tells the story of a suspicious family that moves into a city "some time ago, but not too long" and excites the whole neighborhood to investigate their peculiar lives.
