ABOUT THEATRE9/12 - After the shock the world experienced on 9/11/01, every creative artist was summoned to fulfill the traditional responsibility:
• To heal and lift humanity to understand this new time
• To make order of perceived chaos
• To reassess complacent values
• To heal the past in order to embrace a progressive step forward.
At Theatre9/12, trained and working actors, both union and non-union, continue to develop their talents and skills through workshops and performances. Their efforts climax with productions presented through the Actors' Equity Association Members' Project Code. Theatre9/12 staff assists these union actors in making these projects come to life.
